This recipe is enough for one chicken, 2 Cornish hens, a duck, or a small turkey.
8 slices stale bread, crumbled or cubed
4 cups Tree Top or Seneca Apple Sauce
½ cup brown sugar
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon ground thyme
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 cup raisins
1 cup broth
2 beaten eggs
Chef’s tip: Try corn bread, stale bagels, or Rye bread in place of regular bread. Or try those bits of dry cereal that get left in the box. These all make great “bread crumbs” as well.
